PGCC will hold its annual Get Set weekend on the 28th and 29th March, depending on the weather. This is the time each year where we dust off the winter cobwebs and spruce up the club to make it ready for the forthcoming season.

As always, many hands make light work, so we hope to see as many members as possible join us at the club to help out over the weekend. All contributions, no matter how large or small, are welcomed and help to maintain the community spirit of the club.

There are lots of jobs to do in and around the pavilion and the ground including, but not limited to:

• clean up the cover frames and put on the covers
• touch up the paint on the sight screens and around the pavilion
• strim the banks around the boundary and the areas around the pavilion and static nets
• clearing fallen branches and twigs from the outfield and mowing it

Some of these jobs can be quite messy so we advise wearing older clothes and strong shoes. A pair of gloves may also be useful.
